Subject: Slow HTTP-Request in Lotus Notes Plugin
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

Hello,

I have written a plugin for Lotus Notes. This plugin contains a client, which is written in Java Swing (JRE 1.7) and connects to a java server using http-requests. IBM Lotus Notes uses its own java virtual machine 1.6. For the integration in IBM Lotus Notes I use a "Swing to SWT" - Integration. The http-requests are very slow and need several seconds to finish. The performance of a simply http-request to another server with java classes is similary bad. I work with windows 7 and Lotus Notes 8.5.3. How can I change this behaviour? Thanks.
